    NOSTALGIA!!

The family was very kind and hunted out this eatery, Oakville Grocery, to eat this Caramelized onion & chicken on Baguette. Declared Tania, 'It's Papa's favorite & we eat in remembrance of him!'

We were at Healdsburg for vacation in 2002, when Natalie was 3-month.  This nostalgic visit to this town is another 'declaration' that the past as we know has ended in KokLeong's passing.

  • Note of Encouragement by our fondly loved Precious Couple..

    Th

    G'morning Mrs Chia

I remember you mentioning that you attended concerts. When a concert ends, you would stand up with others clapping and asking for more? Often, it may play on a few more minutes. Eventually it had to stop. You would walk out feeling that you probably would not see such a great performance again. Yet you don't feel sad but elated and inspired by the great music you had the chance to hear. What a stirring crescendo and what a wonderful experience!

This is the only way I hope to describe how you might feel moving forward when you miss Mr Chia's presence badly. His life was a great performance you clapped and cheered for more at the end. Mr Chia played on a little longer and in truth, it was a marvelous crescendo to his life. It was a tremendous concert he had played in front of his beloved wife. And the devoted wife will never forget his fingers and cadenzas and the deep feelings that he gave to his symphony. He was a maestro of life. How wonderful it was for the wife to have been at his concert. Be inspired, feel gratitude not grief Mrs Chia. You had witnessed one of the beautiful lives of your time. In your heart conversation to Mr Chia, it will always be "dearest love, soul mate and friend, the door of my heart will forever be open to you, no matter what you ever do, even if you die…"

Even in death, you let him go.. Such selfless love is so freeing for you.. Liberating the one who must leave you and freeing yourself from all sadness and grief…

It's a brand new day, new year.  Take a step at a time. Breathe and enjoy. Hugss.
